GOA BEACHES TO BE WI-FI-ENABLED
Shorelines in Goa will soon be Wi-Fi-empowered furthermore secured by shut circuit TV, Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar said on Friday.
The state, known for its shoreline and nightlife, had taken advantage of a focal government plan to guarantee Internet administration along the waterfront hotspots, he told journalists on the sidelines of a media occasion in Panaji.
“Every one of the shorelines in Goa will be secured by Wi-Fi, on account of tourism service’s Swadesh Darshan plan under which the Goa government has Rs.100 crore,” Parulekar said.
Goa pulls in about 40 lakh voyagers consistently, including a large portion of a million from outside India.
Parulekar said under the plan, CCTVs would be introduced along the shorelines for fortifying security.
